Streetcar Grille & Tavern Downtown Kansas City

First time visit with my husband for a date night. I'm gluten free and had no problem finding several things on the menu to choose from. The food and drinks were both so good it's definitely going to be a regular spot.

We were craving burgers, and a local sent is here. What can I say? It's absolutely amazing. The restaurant has a fun, sports bar vibe. Lighting was amazing on top of a comfortable atmosphere. Our server was sweet, and what servers should be, amazing. The food... omg, delicious doesn't even describe the burgers. Cooked to perfection and so much flavor!!!!!! I had the crown center, holy crap! Addicting if not obsessed. My daughter had the Have Mercy and I swear her eyes rolled back into her head several times. Said the burger was better than anywhere she's had one. The husband got the fish and chips and loved it. Over all amazing. Will come back on our next time in Kansas City, for sure.

As almost empty nesters, we just moved to our "young again" apartment in the city, so are exploring like tourists. We love finding the new-to-us spots, accessible by foot or rail. As you may have guessed by the name, this spot sits feet away from a streetcar stop in the Crossroads. A bar and grill, inside stocked with TV's for all the sports ball matches. Outside has a few tables, so you can enjoy people watching while noshing on a delicious Horseradish French Dip and sipping on a Tank 7 (a local favorite, brewed by Boulevard. Drink responsibly, this one will sneak attack you). This time around, the husband greatly enjoyed a burger. Low-key don't recall which one, but the one with mushrooms and what not. Yes, a responsible reviewer would look it up and be prepared, but you should honestly be ok trying any one of them. Let's get to the service, the real MVP of the night, our server. First off, I couldn't decide between the French dip or the Philly, so I asked for her help. She wrote something down, then asked if I wanted to know what she chose. I was like oh you're diabolical. I opted for the element of surprise, and only knew my fate once the plate was presented. French Dip it was. It was a great choice and I love that she did this. She, her trainee, the bartender, and all the staff were personable. It was getting late but they didn't make us feel like we were a bother for staying. 10 out of 10. Tip: if you plan on going on a game day or any important sporting event, go early. They do fill up and run out of room quickly.

We will definitely return! I had the Birria Tacos w/a side of Mac n cheese (bc why not) as well as one of their spicy margaritas. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt & friendly.

Service was good - very accommodating. Food came out fast. The atmosphere is good. One thing I could really do without in restaurants, though, is servers with jewelry dangling from their nose holes. It's hard not to think of boogers when normally if there's something dangling around your nose hole you need a tissue. I'm there to eat and so that's not a good mix for my brain.

Large bar and restaurant with a ton of draft beer options. Large food menu with delicious food. Started with the chips and queso and the garlic cheese curds. The white queso was solid, and the cheese curds were divine. Smaller cheese bites so a really good batter to cheese ratio and served with ranch and marinara. I tried the crown center burger which had crunchy peanut butter on it. Well worth the try, it’s such a nice touch. Great spot, service was quick and friendly as well.

Clean and inviting, employees ready to take care of you and your group needs. Food and drinks are great, prices are fair. So many cool options to choose from. Restrooms are clean and well kept. Lots of cool shops around to check out as well. I got the Buffalo chicken and Mac n cheese. delicious
